I normally make this recipe with any bread at home. Regular white bread, wholewheat bread, multigrain bread, French bread and so on.
Just make sure that the bread you use has thick slices. That way it will not get soggy when you spread marinara sauce on it.
Super convenient to make and so tasty too.

Ingredients
Bread: If using French bread, cut the loaf horizontally. You can also use regular bread at home like wholewheat or multigrain bread. Thick slices work better.
Marinara sauce: I normally keep some homemade marinara sauce in the fridge. You can use store-bought sauce too. Even ketchup or any tomato sauce works well.
Toppings: I have used only vegetables here. Finely sliced onion, peppers, tomato, olives, pickled jalapeños etc. work fine. You can also use finely shredded chicken, pepperoni, salami here.
Cheese: Can’t make pizza without cheese. You can use processed, mozzarella, cheddar or a combination of both. I have used mozzarella and cheddar here.
Seasonings: You can use chilli flakes or pepper and salt on top if needed.
Variations
Sauces: Instead of marinara sauce, you can try BBQ sauce, tomato ketchup or hummus for a Mediterranean twist on the bread.
Toppings: Meat lovers can use bacon, pepperoni, sausage, salami or shredded meat for toppings.
Cheese: Shredded mozzarella works best. Combination of mozzarella and cheddar is good too. You can also use fresh mozzarella cheese.
Serving suggestions
Serve it with a green salad or any fresh salad for a more filling meal.
Along with a side: A side of garlic bread or French fries goes very well with this pizza.
Serve it with cola: A cola on the side or a refreshing drink like beer or lemonade pairs very well with this pizza.
